About Us
Who We Are
Green Township Police Citizens’ Academy Alumni, G.T.P.C.A.A., Is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization working in cooperation with the Green Township Police Department to improve the safety and quality of life in the township through educational programs, community activities and volunteer opportunities. Members must have successfully completed the Citizens Police Academy. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Administration Building.
What we do
We work to raise money for community events and residents in need. For Toys, Tots, & Cops, we pair with a local Retailer to allow kids to shop for Christmas. We also assist with a Birthday With the Badge program. We provide funds for officers to use to purchase emergency items for a family or a child in need as they see fit. Many Officers do this out of their own pockets! We sponsor Green Township families for the holidays. We set up give-a way tables at school open houses with officers to encourage child / officer interaction. We also provide a scholarship for a Great Oaks Police Academy student yearly.
How we help
The G.T.P.C.A.A. assists Green Township by volunteering for several events throughout the year. some of these include bowling with a badge, kid's fun day, touch a truck, as well as others. We also set up give away tables at events which help enhance community and law enforcement relations.

We are raising money to allow needy children the opportunity to shop at Christmas. Officer open their hearts and take the time to spend with these kids. Time to start raising money for 2020!
